Steam room in SW Portland

Soft steam. A slower pace.

Concept rendering of the planned steam room and adjacent garden fire pit — Concept rendering. Final design may vary.

In the making.

Our planned steam room will offer humid warmth alongside the dry heat of the cedar sauna. It is one of four elements shaping Stillwater's garden retreat: sauna, steam, cold plunge and hot soaking.

The concept brings the steam room into a garden setting with spaces to pause and gather nearby. We're still refining the design as we convert the former Jade River Healing Arts property into a place for connection and healthy living.

Design and permitting began in July 2026. Construction is planned for spring 2027, with opening targeted for Fall 2027. Stillwater is not yet open; reservations, temperatures and visit details will be announced closer to opening.

Stillwater will be 18+, phone-free, and swimsuit-required in all shared areas.
